Title I SWP News
2023 – 2024
Throughout the school year, the Title I Schoolwide Planning Committee works together to continually analyze our school program and address the needs of our school community. This year’s schoolwide plan focuses on building community and working together to help our students be successful.
I. School Wide Goals for 2022 – 2023
- Parent Workshops: The percentage of parent attendance at in-person workshops increased as a result of an incentive-based plan.
- Fluency Grades 1-3: Each grade level team developed and implemented a plan to improve the reading fluency of their students. The overall average increase for grades 1-3 was 65%.
- Fluency Grade K: The Kindergarten Team developed and implemented a plan to develop pre-reading fluency skills in their students. 78% of Kindergarten students reached or exceeded grade level fluency benchmarks by the end of the 2022/2023 school year.
II. School Wide Goals 2023 – 2024
- Fluency Grades 1-3: As a result of evidence-based grade level fluency improvement plans, by the end of the 2023-2024 school year, all grade 1-3 students are expected to improve their reading fluency achievement so that 70% of the grade level reaches proficiency by the EOY as measured by local CBM assessments.
- Fluency Grade K: As a result of evidence-based grade level fluency improvement plans, by the end of the 2023-2024 school year, all kindergarten students are expected to improve their reading fluency achievement so that 80% of the grade level reaches proficiency by the EOY on their grade level fluency indicator as measured by local CBM assessments.
